STEAM Team Shines at the University of Birmingham HK Hackathon

We are thrilled to announce that our talented boys from 6F—Cheung O Long, Chan Chi Lam Adrian, Chan Marcus Bandon, Chan Wing Hei, and Yu Tsz Tsun—have achieved 1st Runner-Up at the 2024 University of Birmingham Hong Kong Hackathon!

Their innovative project, the Magnetic Drug Administration System (MDAS), features an ingestible, AI-assisted, semi-automated drug delivery capsule designed for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Utilizing magnetic fields, it precisely guides drug transfer capsules to inject medication into the intestinal wall. This achievement highlights their creativity, dedication, and commitment to improving healthcare.
