At assembly yesterday morning, the Editors-in-Chief of the new Wayfarer, Woo Hiu Chit Isaac (6E) and Liang Yuzhe (6E), introduced this year’s exciting issue to the school community.
The covers, designed by Shek Chi Chung (6B), feature a bold digital art style using six colours to represent the College’s six houses. The English cover showcases the iconic College block, while the Chinese cover presents the Primary School block, symbolizing the unity, diversity, and strong sense of brotherhood shared between both campuses.
Inside, readers will enjoy staple content such as College Reports, Class Photos, Club Reports, and artwork by both primary and secondary students.
However, the heart of this year’s Wayfarer lies in its special feature articles. In English, these include reports on the College’s 170th Anniversary Dinner, the Mentorship Programme with the SPC Alumni Association, and the return of Global Classroom tours. The Chinese section covers memorable events such as the visit by Olympic champions from our country’s national team, the mutual exchange visits with the High School Affiliated to Xi’an Jiaotong University, and the Distinguished Prefects Assembly Series.
The Editors-in-Chief also expressed their gratitude to the editorial board, student contributors, and teacher advisors for their dedication in bringing this project to fruition.
Copies of the new Wayfarer will be available for subscribers this December. Be sure to grab your copy and relive the vibrant spirit of St. Paul’s College!
